Universiti Kuala Lumpur MIIT is hosting a hacking competition open to all Malaysian and international students enrolled in higher education institutions. This competition is the result of a strategic collaboration between UniKL-MIIT and industry partners, Nexagate, a leader in the computer and network security business.

When is the GOH 2023 registration deadline ?
The registration is now CLOSE.

What is the GOH 2023 Registration Regulation?
This competition is only open for undergraduate students in IPTA and IPTS only. A team must consist of 3 persons from the same university,not including the supervisor.The prize will be given to the top three (3) teams.

What is the GOH 2023 Game Rules & Regulation?
1. This competition is only open for undergraduate students in IPTA and IPTS
2. The team name must be appropriate and not offensive.
3. All contestants must wear appropriate attire to the competition.
4. All participants must bring their own laptop/notebook computer, computer accessories, and hacking tools.
5. No discussion and exchanging information with other groups (the penalty will be charged).
6. No harming the servers and competition’s network through malicious activities such as DDOS, etc. (Disqualification will be charged if caught)
7. Players and teams
• Each team consists of 3 players
• Total of 30 teams, 90 players
8. In case of the final point is drawn, the winner will be determined based on the following (order by priority)
• First team to solve all challenges within the time (not including Bonus challenge);
OR
• Team that solved most challenges when the time ends (not including Bonus challenge);
OR
• Recent submission time – earlier will be the winner. -
Can I team up with students from other universities?
No, you can only team up with students from the same university.

Is the accommodation provided for the participants?
No, all participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations. All expenses should be bear by the participants.

Is the refreshment provided for the participants?
Yes, we will provide breakfast and lunch.

Can we change team members after registration is confirmed?
Yes, if the reason is reasonable and follow the Game Rules & Regulation.

How much for the registration fee?
The registration fee is RM300 for local universities and USD100 for international universities.

How to make a payment for the registration?
The acceptable payment method is only for online transfers. The details for the payment process will be emailed to the confirmed participants.

If we withdrawn from the competition, can we get a refund for the registration fee?
No, you will not receive a refund.
